Letter from the President
If you want to take your mission in life to the next level, if you’re stuck and you don’t know how to rise, don’t look outside yourself. Look inside. Don’t let your fears keep you mired in the crowd. Abolish your fears and raise your commitment level to the point of no return, and I guarantee you that the Champion Within will burst forth to propel you toward victory. Bruce Jenner
It was just about six years ago, that a close friend brought me to my first Power Conference. I had been looking for a change; a change in strategy and a change in direction. After 20 years of working on my own I was looking for input from others. It was at this event that I was first introduced to the Women’s Business Owner of Montgomery County (WBO-MC). Little did I know how beneficial this meeting would be. The past six years as a member of the WBO-MC have helped grow my business and have afforded me a great opportunity to work with some truly amazing women. Read Wendy's entire letter here.
This month we are shining our WBO Spotlight on Kristin Rodriguez.
WBO Secretary Kristin Rodriguez, a financial planner and advisor at Symphony Financial, works with clients to help them achieve their financial goals. “When I meet with people, we begin by getting a sense of their current financial picture. I then ask what they hope to achieve going forward,” says Kristin, explaining that this is the way she begins to develop a financial plan. Kristin also manages clients’ assets, guiding clients with regard to retirement, disability insurance, long-term care insurance, etc. She sees herself as a financial coach, “starting with the big picture, managing assets and developing long term relationships with clients.”
Kristin works with two other women. “We don't have a specific niche,” she says, “but we try to take care of people – everyday people. Read more about Kristin here.
